Handling Specific Personal Information

Prime Assistance Inc. will handle Individual Numbers and Specific Personal Information as follows.

1. Proper Acquisition of Specific Personal Information

Prime Assistance Inc. will acquire Individual Numbers and Specific Personal Information in a lawful and fair manner. We will not request the provision of Individual Numbers and Specific Personal Information, unless it is required under laws and ordinances.

2. Handling and Scope of Use of Specific Personal Information

Prime Assistance will handle Individual Numbers and Specific Personal Information for use within a scope permissible by laws and ordinances.
Prime Assistance’s use of this information will be limited to the scope set forth as follows, and it will not be used or acquired outside of this scope, nor provided to third parties.

  1. In cases where the following administrative tasks involving Individual Numbers are performed as required under laws and ordinances:
    [1] Preparation of payment records for compensation and fees, contract money and rewards
    [2] Administrative tasks involving Individual Numbers required by other laws and ordinances
  2. Use is permissible in the following cases as required under laws and ordinances.
    [1] When paying insurance claims and other obligations in catastrophic disasters and other such events
    [2] When required to do so to protect a person’s life, body or property and either with the consent of the individual or in cases where it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
3. Matters Concerning Information Security Management Measures

Prime Assistance will make efforts to prevent leaks, loss, or damage of Individual Numbers and Specific Personal Information, as well as the safe management of Specific Personal Information. To this end, we will ensure adequate information security measures for Specific Personal Information, such as system maintenance for handling policies and information security measures.

4. Outsourcing the Handling of Specific Personal Information

Prime Assistance may outsource certain administrative tasks involving Individual Numbers to contractors. Whenever we outsource the handling of Individual Numbers and Specific Personal Information, we will exercise the necessary and appropriate oversight of contractors, such as checking in advance their information management systems after setting criteria for their selection.
* For requests for any notification, disclosure, revision or suspension of use of retained personal-information data, Individual Numbers or Specific Personal Information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, please refer to the section on “Procedures for Requesting Disclosure, etc.”
